NewburyOpening an office in Newbury is the latest step in SGPB Hambros’ regional expansion and its plans to secure a stronger and more visible presence throughout the UK. Rebecca Constable and Andrew Wimble will be based in SGPB Hambros’ new regional office in Newbury to deliver wealth management services to high net worth individuals in the Thames Valley.
Rebecca Constable and Andrew Wimble both have extensive experience and their knowledge of the Thames Valley region will be invaluable. They will be joined by senior private bankers Roger Plummer and Ian Walker, who joined the bank in 2007, and the new team will focus on developing their relationships with key clients and intermediaries. 
Rebecca Constable, senior private banker, has been advising private clients for 20 years. She has experience in investment banking and fund management and was previously a senior banker in an award winning team at Barclays Wealth. She has advised and supported female entrepreneurs for many years. She has considerable experience in advising charities, with a particular interest in micro finance, and is a Trustee of a charity that supports education and healthcare. Rebecca is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute, as well as a member of the Institute of Directors.
Andrew Wimble, senior private banker, has been working in the City for over 30 years. Prior to joining Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros, he worked for over 11 years at Kleinwort Benson, following six years as a discretionary fund manager for ANZ Grindlays Bank, where he travelled extensively throughout the Middle East. He focuses on advising UK-based private clients and their families as well as charities in the management of their financial affairs, and works especially closely with entrepreneurs who have recently sold their businesses. Andrew is a trustee and investment committee member of the Rifles Regimental Charities and Skinners' Livery Company, and a keen aviator.
Roger Plummer, senior private banker, previously held the position of senior private client manager at both HSBC Private Bank and Coutts based in Oxford.
Ian Walker, senior private banker, was a senior financial planning specialist. Ian brings extensive experience in the field of private banking and investment management, having previously been a Director at UBS Wealth Management.
The Newbury team are assisted by Julie Brine.

CambridgeSGPB Hambros established an office in Cambridge in 2007. The team includes William Quantrill and Nicholas Greenaway, senior private bankers assisted by Victoria Burgess. 
William Quantrill joined from Coutts where, as a Senior Client Partner, he successfully opened their Cambridge office. His previous experience includes a period with Merrill Lynch International and Lloyds TSB Private Banking. 
Nicholas joined SG Hambros from Coutts in Cambridge, where he has been instrumental in establishing and developing their office. Prior to this, he spent 17 years with NatWest in a variety of roles, latterly as a senior relationship manager for the bank’s high-net-worth client base.

SouthamptonThe office was established in 2006 at the International Business Park in Southampton. The office covers the central south coast region looking after clients in Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight and Wiltshire. We also extend our services to clients in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, West Sussex and Berkshire.
Martin Brown is the Senior Private Banker in charge of the office, focusing on Wealth Management and Financial Planning solutions. Martin has 18 years of industry experience in both client advising and in senior management roles. His previous position was heading up the Dorset office for Coutts and Co.
Andrea Steel is a Private Banker focusing on lending and leveraging against client's assets as part of our overall Wealth Management services. Andrea has 10 years of Private Banking experience and her previous role was Relationship Manager with C Hoare and Co in London.
Nigel McAllen is an Assistant Private Banker responsible for client banking operations and office administration. Nigel has 27 years of banking administration experience and his last position was running the banking administration for the Dorset office of Coutts and Co.
The South Coast office is able to provide advice on the full range of products and services offered by SGPB Hambros. The office also works closely with a number of global entities within the Société Générale Group particularly in respect of Super Yacht finance and Private Jet finance.
